Former Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili was pelted with eggs at the Tbilisi airport after returning from Munich. This is reported by TV Pirveli.

It is reported that Zurabishvili was targeted by a group of anonymous activists as she was returning from the Munich Security Conference. Former Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, who was also returning from Munich, was also pelted with eggs. Security and police did not have time to react. The Georgian Interior Ministry has launched an investigation into the incident.

Earlier, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said that Tbilisi is ready to resume negotiations with Brussels on Georgia's accession to the European Union. He added that improving relations with Brussels is a direct interest of Georgia, and expressed readiness to take the necessary measures for this."
