"For better wear resistance and long service life in the operating conditions of the passenger area of the station, the structures were painted in three layers. Also, the letters of station names and line diagrams are mounted on the tubing," Andrei Bochkarev clarified. The Savelovskaya BCL station began operating back in 2018, said Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC. And "Maryina Grove" and "Rizhskaya" opened on March 1, 2023 as part of the launch of the Big Ring Metro Line, their design was chosen during an international architectural competition. "On the Maryina Grove, the main artistic element is the porcelain—trimmed pylons, reminiscent of the decoration of noble estates. The main component of the concept at Rizhskaya was metal arches-portals with LED lighting at the edges," Yuri Kravtsov recalled. The creation of a Large Ring Line is the main project of the domestic metro construction. Its length is 70 kilometers, there are 31 stations located here. The Big Ring connects the existing and prospective lines of the Moscow Metro, the MCC and MCD platforms.
