What is microgrowth, how and what to grow?

Microgreen is not just a fashion, but also a real modern superfood! These tender little sprouts contain much more vitamins and important elements for the body than adult plants. Thanks to the simplicity of growing, you can please yourself and your loved ones with fresh sprouts at any time of the year.

Just a small bunch of sprouts in a salad or on a sandwich will give them not only a restaurant look and original taste, but also a significant benefit. In our time, microgreens have become very popular all over the world, and its cultivation for sale is a very profitable business.

What crops can be grown on micrograin

Amaranth. Greens with pink leaves, which has a delicate taste and nutty aftertaste. Amaranth microgreen is rich in vitamins. Great for smoothies.

Basil. Contains carotene, ascorbic acid, B vitamins and essential oils. It has a positive effect on the functioning of the digestive system. You can add to all dishes, especially delicious to try with it salted cottage cheese or omelet.

Borago (cucumber grass). Microgreens, taste and smell similar to fresh cucumber. It is a source of strength that helps reduce stress, accelerates metabolism and even increases immunity. It can be used with a salad of fresh vegetables.

Peas. Sweet, with a nutty tinge. It tastes like young green peas. Young stalks with leaves and tendrils are suitable for food. Its benefits are high in fiber, protein, and complex carbohydrates. Micro-greens are crispy, so they go well with fresh vegetables and are a wonderful decoration for vegetable soups.

Mustard. It has a piquant island taste. It is added to fish dishes and salads. Strengthens blood vessels, improves appetite and blood circulation.

Kale leafy cabbage (kale). Like other subspecies of cabbage, cale is incredibly useful. Its micrograin contains a huge amount of valuable vitamins and minerals in huge quantities. Sprouts are perfectly combined with fresh vegetables and herbs, so they are added to salads and smoothies without heat treatment.

Pak-choi (bok-choi). A variety of Chinese cabbage. Sprouts are used fresh in salads, sandwiches, smoothies, stews, sandwiches or as a decoration of meat and fish dishes.

Kohlrabi. Because of the high content of vitamin C, this cabbage is called "northern lemon". These are very beautiful sprouts with a purple stem and green leaves, so they are very popular in restaurants. The aroma is similar to turnips, but softer, and the taste is sweet.
