After a meeting between representatives of the military command of India and China over territorial disputes in the border areas of the two countries, a statement appeared on the website of the Indian foreign Ministry on June 7 that "both sides agreed to peacefully resolve the situation in the border areas in accordance with bilateral agreements, adhering to the agreement between the leaders of the two countries that peace and calm in the Indian-Chinese border areas are essential for the overall development of bilateral relations."

In China the forest grows very quickly

The national forest coverage, which reached 220 million hectares last year, has seen a consistent growth in the past 30 years, making China the country with the fastest growth of forest resources in the world, according to the national forest resource management conference held in Fuzhou, East China's Fujian province, on Monday.
