As part of the international cultural project, a contest of compositions for Kantele is being held
Professional composers and Amateur authors over the age of 18 can participate in the Kantele composition competition. Applications are accepted until August 1, 2020.
The competition is held within the framework of the international project Kantele Goes Global! Ground Zero, one of the goals of which is to create a new repertoire for Kantele.
Contest nominations:
works for cantele-solo;
works for ensembles of intelistaf;
works for ensembles of mixed instrumental composition with the leading participation of Kantele;
training (educational and methodological guide) for performing on the kantel.

Recall that the international cultural project Kantele Goes Global! Ground Zero brings together events of various directions, the main goal of which is to promote kantel performance in the Republic of Karelia and the Republic of Finland. The project is implemented within the framework of the Karelia cross-border cooperation Program, funded by the European Union, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Finland.
