The Russian government has banned the purchase of foreign planes and helicopters through public procurement

Planes and helicopters from foreign countries, with the exception of the EEU member States, cannot be purchased through public procurement.
The corresponding decree of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin was published on the official Internet portal of legal information "Establish a ban on the admission of industrial goods originating from foreign countries (except for the member States of the Eurasian economic Union) for the purpose of procurement for state and municipal needs according to the list in accordance with the Annex (hereinafter — the list)," the document says. "The list of industrial goods originating from foreign States (except for the member States of the Eurasian economic Union), which are prohibited from admission for the purpose of procurement for state and municipal needs… Helicopters… Planes and other aircraft with a mass of empty equipment over 15,000 kilograms, " the decree says.
