"Reflection and lyrics": in Kaliningrad opened the" poetic " exhibition of Pablo Picasso

In the Kaliningrad Museum of fine arts on Thursday, March 14, opened the exhibition "Pablo Picasso: artist among poets."

The original graphics of the famous artist of the 20th century and multimedia composition can be viewed until may 26, including during the "Museum night" on may 17. The cost of conventional and preferential ticket-350 and 250 rubles.

The exhibition is presented by the gallery of contemporary art PS Gallery from the collection of the famous Russian collector Mark Bashmakov. This is the only person who was provided with rooms in the Hermitage to exhibit his collection of works of art.

The exhibition "Pablo Picasso: a painter among poets" arrived to Kaliningrad from Saint Petersburg. It, as noted by the staff of the gallery, presents "the whole history of the art world, in which Picasso reveals his vision of literary work and its characters."

The exhibition space is divided into several sectors, where Pablo Picasso's works are connected with the life and work of writers. Among them, Max Jacob, Guillaume Apollinaire, Arthur Rimbaud, Jean Cocteau, Pierre Reverdy and Ilya Zdanevich. In addition, Picasso himself wrote poems and plays — this theme is also reflected in the exhibition.

Picasso's graphic series, no matter how often they are far from the text, always hit the mark, and even the sheets initially alien to the text eventually become its interpretation. The graphics of Pablo Picasso are many faces, like all his work. Here is a reflection and lyricism, humor and drama, philosophical detachment and emotion — noted art historians.
