In her welcoming speech, Tatyana Tylevich stressed that ballet and porcelain are two symbols of St. Petersburg and Russia as a whole. In the confluence of these unique spheres of culture, extraordinary works of art are born, in which a magical moment of beauty is immortalized in noble material. For centuries, Russian ballet, its age-old traditions and unsurpassed geniuses have been an inexhaustible source of inspiration for artists and sculptors of the IFZ. The event was presented by the works of the Imperial porcelain factory, dedicated to the most magical of all art forms – ballet. The evening was presented the iconic sculpture, which is a desirable acquisition for collectors: the pearl of Russian modernism, "Tamara Karsavina" work Sudbinin Seraphim, a striking example of realism "Galina Ulanova" – Elena Yanson-Manizer. Each piece in porcelain has its own destiny. Thus, the sculptural image of Tamara Karsavina is a truly ambitious project for the Imperial porcelain factory during the reign of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II. The ballerina stands on two fingers and, surprisingly, she has no props!

Works of modern leading artists of the plant-Anatoly Danilov, Galina Belash and Maria Matveeva-continue the tradition of high St. Petersburg porcelain. Masters have created highly artistic products that are dedicated to modern masters of ballet. For example, Anatoly Danilov created a highly artistic work " N. Mmm. Tsiskaridze as Siegfried in the Swan lake by p. I. Tchaikovsky. The sculptural portrait of the people's artist of Russia has one point of support, which is technologically difficult to produce. The hero of the work was directly involved in the creation of the sculpture: talked with the author, discussed the details. The joint work allowed the master to create the most accurate and complete emotional portrait of the dance master.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of a new work by Anatoly Danilov-a sculptural portrait of Gabriela Komleva, people's artist of the USSR, the legendary ballerina of the Opera and ballet theatre. S. M. Kirova (now the Mariinsky theatre). According to Gabriela Trofimovna, the master feels amazing dance movement, well versed in the art of ballet. More importantly, he was able to show the atmosphere of the dance itself. "It is very valuable, I am delighted!"- the famous dancer shared her emotions.

It should be noted that the exhibition "Ballet in China" is held in the new exhibition space of the IFZ – art Gallery "Barn Bourgeois". On the site of the new format in the heart of St. Petersburg – on Bolshaya Konyushennaya street, 2 – the best works of author's porcelain, unique interior items, as well as the results of joint projects of the manufactory are presented.
