A man was covered with sand alive on a popular beach

In Brisbane, Australia, a man was covered alive with sand while he was relaxing on a popular beach.

On Saturday, December 2, 25-year-old Josh Taylor, along with friends and relatives, decided to cook pork on the beach using the traditional New Zealand method — in an earthen oven. For cooking, vacationers dug a hole one and a half meters deep. Witnesses claim that as soon as Taylor got up from his chair, sand began to crumble under him. The Australian stepped back and stretched out his arms to keep his balance, but eventually fell into the pit upside down. After that, it was covered with sand.  The surrounding people rushed to help, but they could not pull the man out. By the time rescuers arrived at the scene, more than 15 people were trying to dig Taylor out. As a result, he was still able to be extracted from the pit using a rope. However, according to one of the eyewitnesses, the fact that the victim was pulled out of the sand too abruptly hurt him even more.  When Taylor was pulled out of the pit, he had no pulse. Rescuers, friends and family performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on him for 45 minutes before his heart started beating again. Paramedics then arrived at the scene and took the victim to the hospital by helicopter. Doctors in intensive care fought for his life for six days, but could not save him.  Earlier it was reported that the 74-year-old owner of an Italian cheese factory producing parmesan cheese fell under a blockage of cheese. The cause of the tragic incident was a broken shelf.
